“I worked with CYS Structural Engineers, Inc. on the Department of General Services, Downtown Sacramento Central Plant from 2007 to 2010. This design-build project was a large District Central Plant that served the California State Capital and 20 other State-Owned Buildings in downtown Sacramento. The structural elements for this project were very robust to meet the local seismic requirements and utilized deep foundations, pile caps, structural slabs, heavy steel construction with buckling restrained brace frames, and numerous heavy pipe racks to carry the loads for the large piping components.
