Location: Madera County, CA
CYS was the Prime Consultant, providing Project Management as well as Structural Engineering, for this 50-building, 1,984-bed women’s prison constructed of concrete, structural steel, masonry and wood. The project included Housing Units, Secure Support Buildings, Water/Wastewater, Warehouse, Non-secure Support & Guard Towers, Security and Communications System and Central Health Facility. The project was completed on time, within budget and with a very low number of RFI’s and Change Orders.
