Educational facilities comprise 25-30% of our work. These projects have involved new facilities, upgrade and repair of existing facilities, and modernization projects. In addition to our design experience for educational facilities, we have held master agreements with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) for several decades, performing plan checks on K-12 and higher education facilities. We are very familiar with the codes and regulations that govern school construction and have been very successful in obtaining timely approvals from DSA by communicating with agency engineers regarding structural issues as the project develops, obtaining written approvals prior to the final submittal.
