Location: Creech AFB, Nevada
CYS was the structural engineer of record for four projects that are part of the Predator Beddown program including:
- FY06 new 16,000 SF Aircraft Maintenance Hangar. The structural system consists of a performance design pre-manufactured metal building system of long-span, ordinary moment frames at the hangar areas in the east-west direction with lean-to’s at high roof pop-outs.
- Munitions Maintenance Facility consisting of three facility types: 1) four 2,400 SF pre-engineered concrete building structures for the munitions storage igloos, 2) a 6,000 SF munitions maintenance facility with interior blast walls, and 3) a 4,500 SF equipment maintenance facility matching the munitions maintenance facility for walls and roof system.
- Equipment Maintenance Facility designed as a masonry building.
- Shop Addition to an existing Aircraft Hangar is a custom-designed steel-framed building.
